Projek kolaborasi kita di wetpaint benar-benar seru! Kami sangat berterima kasih bagi semua peserta kolaborasi. Ceritanya semakin menegangkan dan kami tidak sabar untuk melihat tulisan berikutnya. Berikut ini adalah kutipan tulisan untuk first story:
It was a beautiful summer day in Vancouver, not a cloud in the sky. Mark stood by the window watching the street outside. He felt jittery. Maybe it was the coffee but then again maybe it was just normal on a day like this. He walked over to the couch and inspected the contents of his backpack.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Thump, thump, thump. Thump, thump, thump. “Police. Open up.” “Open the door.” Thump, thump, thump. “If you don’t open the door, we will knock it down.” Thump, thump, thump. Thoughts of gazelles running from lions flashed through Mark’s head.
Mark froze in fear. Beads of perspiration trickled down his forehead. “Open up!”, the shouts were getting louder. He could hear the sound of sirens in the distance getting closer, more were coming. Mark scanned the room quickly.
Mark was confused and panicked so as he ran through the back door while carrying a bag. Because of being not that answered, then police broke through the door to the house and saw that this house is empty. Then police immediately checked every room. Then police realised that Mark went through the back door. Police then immediately tried to trace his tracks.
Barking noises! The police had released the dogs and they were hot on Mark’s trail. Mark jumped over a neighbor’s fence and scanned his surroundings quickly. Left, right, the road or the forest? One thing for sure, he had to call Andrew to warn him.
Mark tries to find his cell phone in the bag immediately. After Mark found the cell phone, he quickly to call Andrew. Unfortunate, Mark has lost signal. There is no signal in the forest. So Mark make decision to going to Andrew’s home through the forest.
